Europe, Democracy and Citizenship in the 21st Century

The Workers’ Educational Association and the European Parliament Office in the UK have teamed up to offer an opportunity for adults who want to learn more about Europe and the European Union.

This free course, and a study visit to Brussels will enable you to gain knowledge and take what has been learnt back into your communities.

The courses will be held in Sheffield, Leeds, Doncaster and Scunthorpe.

Who should apply?

Applicants need to be:

  • involved in your community
  • over 19 (on the 1st August 2014)
  • willing to share what you have learnt with your community
  • supportive of the WEA’s Vision: A better world, equal, democratic and just; through adult education the WEA challenges and inspires individuals, communities and society”
