The LEP will have overall responsibility for the European Social Investment Funds (ESIF) from 2014 and this event forms part of the process of developing provision for young people; the Youth Employment Initiative.

Aimed at ESF youth programme providers and Local Authorities, the purpose is twofold: first, building on some initial work which was carried out last year, to provide further evaluation of the current programme - what has worked and what has not; and second to provide valuable information for the future LEP ESIF youth programme by helping to identify what will make the programme most effective.

Through plenary sessions and group work, the event provides an opportunity for you to share your experience and contribute to future thinking.
